What is a Digital Medical Folder?

This is a secure space that meets the highest-level security measures, where you can upload your medical records and diagnostic tests in digital format (eg, MRI, CT-Scans, ...).
There is no size limit.
You can access your Medical Digital Folder at any time, from anywhere.

In what situations can it be useful to me?

We can affirm that it can always be useful because, having your medical information stored and sorted, you are sure to find it whenever you need it.
Being able to access your online files anytime from anywhere, you can share it with your doctors where necessary.
You will have the peace of mind that your confidential data, to which you alone can access, are hosted in a secure space which fully complies with Law 15/1999 of December 13th, on the Protection of Personal Data.

What is the difference between a Digital Medical Folder and a Premium Digital Medical Folder?

The Digital Medical Folder is a space that you handle personally, where you can store all your medical documentation.

The Premium Folder is specially designed for people who are suffering from severe or complex conditions.
With this plan, it is Healthmotiv´s medical staff who classifies the patient´s documentation and prepares a clinical summary of his medical history that can be shared with the physician who will treat him.
In stressful situations, it may be difficult for you to summarize your medical data. With the clinical summary you will not have this concern.
In addition, our doctors will closely follow-up on your progress.

How can I get my medical documentation?

Patients´ rights are regulated by Law 41/2002 of  November 14th .
It includes the patient´s right to access his medical history and request a full copy of it.

The medical history is made up of your medical reports and the diagnostic tests (CT-Scans, MRIs, X-Rays, …).

Every public or private Medical Center has its own protocol to request a copy of the medical history. In general, you must contact the Department of Patient´s Assistance, fill out a request form and provide your ID.

Who can access my Digital Medical Folder?

Only you, Healthmotiv´s medical staff and those who have been designated by you.

What happens if I stop having access to this service?

Before we delete your data, you will be able to download all your medical information and store it in a device you own.

What happens if I forget my login details?

This should not be a concern. There are mechanisms for you to recover them, online.

How can I request the service?

If our services are included in a product you contracted (insurance policy, health or wellness product, credit card, membership club, …) you may register by clicking REGISTER NOW in our website and request the service from your Personal Space.
For the Premium plan, you may also request the service by phone.

If, on the contrary, you are an individual consumer, please, contact us using the information listed at the bottom of this page. We will be happy to assist you.

Can I store the medical documentation of all my family in one Digital Medical Folder?

No.

In accordance with Law 15/1999 of December 13th  on the Protection of Personal Data, each patient or user must have his own medical folder. Medical information on multiple users should never be mixed.
Each Digital Medical Folder is individual.

I'm not very familiar with the Internet

Don´t worry.
The Digital Medical Folder is very intuitive. In addition, you have instructions available in your Personal Space.
In any case, you can submit questions by email and our staff will be happy to answer them.
