The service permits the patient to countercheck the opinion of his treating doctors with those of independent specialists, recommended by their peers for their important experience in their fields.

How to request the Service

You may request the service from your private area. If you are not still registered, you may do it from here.

Healthmotiv´s medical team will contact you within one working day, following the receipt of your request and will explain to you how the service works and the medical records that will be needed in principle to have your case reviewed, based on the information provided in the first call.

In order to be able to assist you in collecting your medical records and handle them, as requested by law, Healthmotiv will send you some forms that you will need to fill out, sign and send back to us at your earliest convenience.

Reviewing your Case

Upon receipt of your complete medical documentation our medical committee will review it, coordinate the review of the diagnostic studies and select a renowned specialist in your disease to analyze it and give his observations and recommendations on your diagnosis and the best treatment options, based on his recognized professional experience. Our medical committee might recommend the review of your case by more than one specialist, depending on its intrinsic characteristics.

The team responsible for your case will keep you punctually posted on any news or progress of the process. You may also gain access to this information directly through your private area.

Your Second Medical Opinion Report

Because we know timeliness is important to you, we will always work to return your final report in the shortest possible time. The average time the process takes ranges between 7 and 15 working days, depending on the complexity of the case, the number of experts needed and their availability to properly review your case.

Upon receipt of the final report, the doctor responsible for your case will contact you to explain and clarify any doubt you may have about it. Finally, Healthmotiv will send a complete report to you, with the result of the Second Medical Opinion.

Healthmotiv offers you as well the possibility of requesting follow-ups on your condition, where necessary.
